Monica Zielinski is a Polish-American journalism graduate from the United States. For most of her life, she lived with her Polish parents in Connecticut, USA. After graduating with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism and Communication from Southern Connecticut State University in 2016, she moved to Warsaw, Poland to work in media and reconnect with her Polish roots.

For four years she worked for a print and digital magazine where she wrote about business, culture and current events but also managed social media, coordinated the print edition, and helped organize international conferences. While working full-time, she also completed a Master's Degree from the University of Warsaw in English Studies. When the pandemic hit, she started working for a startup where she wrote content about atmospheric accommodations, provided Polish to English translations and created marketing campaigns with foreign influencers. Currently, she works as a social media manager for an online platform which focuses on culture, history and business in Poland.

Monica also started her own YouTube channel and TikTok, where she talks about her life in Poland and how it differs from life in the USA. In her free time, she likes to travel around Europe and less obvious corners of the world, visit her grandparents in Ostrołęka, read American crime novels, ride a bike and experiment with new recipes in the kitchen.
